This supportive studio critique may focus on important themes and narratives in our work or focus on the methods and materials we use to tell our visual story. An art career involves many creative challenges. It can make a huge difference when we can communicate our challenges with another artist who can help pull out our own deep knowledge of what matters most to us. It often leads to solutions that otherwise might be overlooked.
Each session is approximately one hour.
I very enjoy the opportunity to do a deep dive with other artists to explore their ambitions for their art and career and to support them to build upon their strengths and artistry in bringing their art to the world.
Working independently many artists hunger for the opportunity for feedback and supportive critiques of our work and our art practice. Having the opportunity to share our vision with another experienced artist/educator prepared to listen deeply, critique honestly, and advise accordingly can accelerated artistic and professional advancement. It is easier to develop clarity and determine what would be most useful in this particular moment in our art and art careers when we interact with an informed artist paying deep attention to us and our art.

Session Plan
In our session, we will address your studio practice, creative blocks and successes, the narrative in your work, commissioned art, methods and materials, and preparation of your work for exhibition sharing it with the world. Dialogue and specific questions are encouraged.
Our time together is intended as a discussion to acknowledge what might not be working well for you as you build your careers as an artist and to share ideas openly and honestly. This is an opportunity for a dialogue with a professional colleague that can lead to new ideas and new methods.
Sessions are confidential, one to one, and are meant to encourage new explorations and creativity in your studio practice.
